Synthesizers

3oscX4 v1.3
By Stephen Kwartler

page39_4

4 Voice, 8 Osc. grouped synthesizer with a different approach to layering.
Each OSC group has 2 sets of 3 oscillator banks with individual filters and lfo controls per bank,
and each oscillator bank is panned LEFT or RIGHT.

Basically, each oscillator group sends one sound left and the other to the right,
playing with the stereo field which can create some interestingly layered sounds.

There is a mixer section in which to add or remove an osc. group from the main mix.
There is then a global PAN to mix all signals back to center for a rich, lush sound (if thats what you desire).
Lastly there is a randoMize button courtesy or Rick Scott, so you don't have to keep the snapshot window open.
There are 2 panel sets — A/B just have slightly different color schemes.

rhythm_fmz v1.3
By daniel battaglia

page39_5

  FM/RM Drum Synth
An 8 channel FM/RM/subtractive drum synthesizer.

Channels are mapped to notes 48+.
Good for all sorts of blip, cracks and deep bass sounds.

Meant to be used in a host, as there is no sequencer attached.
Should be easy enough to add one if you want.

Needs some snapshots, but it is easy to use.

1.2 - fixed wierdness when triggering with notes w/o note off messages.

slacker v4.0
By Jonathan Style

page39_6

  detuned synth
It’s a simple synth. It came about due to Mr. Thick by Chet Singer;
I needed something that was not as heavy on the cpu.
I also wanted that detuned oscillator sound to be optional
so that the extra osc could be turned off,
note the spread parameter is a simple detune when only one osc is in used,
the spread sound per osc only works when the osc is set to 2 or 3.
The basic structure is similar to Junatik.
It’s very lite on CPU, 7% on the meter was the max for me.
Not many snaps.

Start the clock.

Acknowledgements: The saturation is from Carbon 2.

update2: added a few things...

update3: added even more stuff, now has a keyboard and some other nifty things.
I add a quick manual to show what some of these little things are.

update4: added an option to make the lfo to the filter bipolar and unipolar (+).
Also added a phaser.

SoapOpera 6 v1.1
By Karl Friederich Meis

page39_7

Enhanced version of the SIEL Opera 6
In my opinion, the sound of the original Opera 6 is not realy worth beeing recreated with Reaktor, but the intuitive panel was an interesting challange for me to be copied as accuratly as possible (in fact, the functionality of the panel-elements I recreated from my poor memory) and I tried to enhance the sound of the original a bit with various effects. Well, here's the result. It's my first ensemble - please be nice when voting. You can find more information about the SoapOpera 6, a panel-comparison and a MP3-Demo here: http://www.meis-software.eu/bit31/soap-opera6.html
