MultiTapDelay v1.1
By Nicolas Bigot

1306960318_thumb_10312_screenshot

MultiTapDelay (4 delays)
This effect is a multi-tap delay based on the synth Roland XP-50 Quadruple-Tap-Delay effect.

Electronic music oriented, it can be sync on tempo.
All delays have their own settings and can be muted.
The CPU load on my computer is about 3.5%

I use it mostly on a lead synth sound but I guess you can find many other ways to use it.

SSL 4K BUS COMPRESSOR v5.0
By Benjamin Suthers

1308699155_thumb_10371_SSL4KBUS

SSL 4K BUS COMPRESSOR
This is a pretty good model of how the gain reduction is created in the SSL 4000 series bus compressor.

Time constants, thresholds, and ratios behave in a similar manner.

ok...so a little more work on the way it sounds, including a boost button for those who forget that sometimes the i internal mix bus of an analogue console may have +18dBV at it's output before an analogue mix bos compressor and that's usually indicative of distortion in a digital comp.....so press the boost button in and pump away....(or leave it out for a more subtle sound).

Sequencers

Allgorhytm v1.7
By sonictwist !

1190364902_thumb_6402_Allgorhytm

Advanced 16x4 step sequencer with intelligent-random functions.
PLEASE VISIT TWISTEDTOOLS.COM FOR MORE NEW INSTRUMENTS!

11.06.2011 - updated to support R5.6
still compatible with 5.15

version 1.5

improvements: now it's 2-dimensional. you can use it e.g. like a modulators (or to trigger 2 sounds at once). x dimension got separate midiout, so you are able
to asign any knob or anything else to be automated (see the snapshots). btw, i included 1-dimensional (y) version, for those who don't need xy-styled instrument.

added: output jitter. for example,if jitter's value is 50%, output velocity will variate from X - 0.5 to X + 0.5 where X is a step's value (note, that min. output = 0, max = 1).
that makes extra variations to the sequence and more "human" feel. jitter's new random value generates before each next active step.

version 1.4

added: advanced stepwrap function (you can wrap separate rows using action filter). midi learn included.

fixed: some bits here and there.

version 1.2

improvements: CPU requriments now are really low.

added: MIDI learn feature for interface objects (following: randomize velocity, randomize colours, randomize mode, randomize amount, reset, colours probability, clock stop/start, midi send on/off).

added: individual switcher for each row (transparent = on, black = off) for Randomize velocity,Randomize colours and Reset functions.

added: little feature for position display (left mouse hold + up or down moves to change position grid division) might be helpful for beat arrangement.

version 1.1:

added: midi out feature (with separate activate/deactivate switches).
added: some hints.

You got four colours with individual probability settings wich you can assign to each step in the sequence.
So for example if you'll set brown steps to 50, you got 50% chance that they will trigger the sound. Simple interface yet complex never repeating loops.
Also there are individual clock settings for each row (clock division, loop start and loop lenght), that makes beat (or whatever) loops creation
even more flexible. CPU requirements 0%.

Read hints for more detailed description.

Complete tool for live loop capturing and manipulation.
Live tool is an ensemble I was using extensively in my live performances throughout last two years. This is a tool that lets you play improvised live sets without any prerecorded loops or sequences.

Detailed manual is included in the zip in pdf format.

This is a version from august 2010.

You can also watch a video overview of the ensemble here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_UW-5QXH9o

NeuronDrum v1.0
By Poul Vestergaard

Schermata 2011-07-13 a 23.22.56

NeuronDrum is a sample based rhythm composer.
NeuronDrum is a sample based rhythm composer.
It has 512 audio samples 32MB. Most of the sounds are made for electronica music.
All rhythms is made of a neuron based approach with 8 neurons.
Neuron 1 has 64 metronome kind of sounds.
Neuron 2 has 64 bass drum sounds.
Neuron 3 has 64 snare drum sounds.
Neuron 4 has 64 kind of short blips sounds.
Neuron 5 has 64 short glitch sounds.
Neuron 6 has 64 low pitched tom like sounds.
Neuron 7 has 64 long effect like sounds.
Neuron 8 has 64 different closed hihat sounds.
The first neuron works as a kind off metronome. All neuron can send impulses to each other.
Every neuron has a threshold value.
If the threshold is 3 then it will need 4 impuses to fire the sample,
and send impulses to other neurons.

NeuronDrum will recieve midi note on at all 8 neuron, but thats only if it's used as soundmodule.
NeuronDrum will send midi notes from its rhythmgenerator.
It will syncronize to midisongposition, but will only be accurate from start of the song.
caused by the nature of this way of generating rhythm patterns.
NeuronDrum has 5 effect unit. Tempodelay, reverb, compressor, exciter and a modwheel controlled lowpass filter.

find your flavour of soundset with force all neuron pads
or select sound for each neuron then edit each sound
random pads (red buttom) change all neuron pads random
but non randompad buttom can lock the sample for each neuron pad
random pitch (blue buttom) change all pitch random +- 1 octave
but non randompitch buttom can lock the pitch of each pad.
the redblue buttome changes both at the same time.

use the send buttoms for each neuron to send to other neurons.
set the threshold values according to how often you want that neuron to excite.

Silver_Glitch_Bird v1.9
By Karel Skakal

Schermata 2011-07-13 a 23.41.41

Andre GOCs' Silverbird drum sequencer
Here is a little Variation to ANDRE GOC's Original SILVERBIRD, which I like so much.

I stripped the FX and changed the sequencers for ones with almost indefinite variations.
HI Hats have a variable adjustment that creates syncopated beats, if ON, experiment!

The GUI is a bit more condensed and butoons/pots changed.

Samplers are loaded with 15 samples each, because of UL upload size limitation.

it is best to create dedicated drum machines for electro, acoustic, dub, etc, by loading appropriate samples. All are ROOT=0

Silverbird 2.3 v1.6
By Mete Atam

1308695761_thumb_10370_Bild_2

This is an enhanced version of Silverbird by Andre Goc.

I only added some features:
- New Mute/Solo-System (taken from massive) now works "pre"
- Pattern Sequencer
- Midi-Out

Thanks to Andre Goc for this very nice toy - and especially for the many good snapshots.

Have fun!

PS: fixed bug in midi-outs

Update: mutes now "random isolated"

Update: new global clock

Update:
- new pattern sequencer
- midi record to all sequencers
- copy paste for sequencer data (via context menu): click in upper part of sequencer to access event table functions.
- pattern selection controllable via midi: assign controllers to the numbers (knobs) above the pattern sequencer
- different filter control (allows fading between LP-BP-HP)
- bugs fixed - and maybe new ones introduced

Snapshots

Ambient Workshop v1.2
By Stefan Knauthe

New snaps for Rubiter Ate.
Hi, here is a new 50 snapshot bank for the great Rubiter Ate Polyphonic Synthersizer by Robert Solheim, which is still my favourite synthesizer here in the user library. This time its all about Ambient Music. I took my Telephasic Workshop bank as a basis and tweeked all snaps once again, that's why the snap names are almost the same. Be careful when selecting a new patch, sometimes
the effect section does stange things to our ears.
Of course credit goes to Robert. I did the programming on version 1.0, that's why i didn't make use of the phaser from version 1.1.
The bank works on both versions.

Virus M v2.0
By Stephan V.

1308819745_thumb_10373_Virus_M

Access Virus A emulation
Another trial to emulate my Access Virus A, but with a lot of simplifications:

- no spectral waveforms (only triangle wave)
- no ring modulator
- only three saturation types
- standard adsr envelopes
- different filter balance behavior
- reduced LFO controls
- no chorus effect (use the delay for that)
- only 8 voices polyphony
- etc...

The synth has 6 quick access menus for LFO 1 & 2 destiation, filter env modulation, global, additional filter and delay effect controls.
Almost all controls recieve midi control change messages, the midi mapping is the same as on the original.
The modulation matrix is on panel B.
It`s quite CPU hungry and the sound is still far away from the original, but it's a good sounding flexible synth and I'm sure I'll use it a lot.

Comes with 41 snaps

Rev 1.1: Changed some snapshots.

Rev 1.2: Deleted some unused macros.

1st update:
- Wavetable mode for both oscillators
- Added a comb filter
- Two Edit-menues: Edit I for additional oscillator settings, Edit II for additional filter settings
